Seven months

This beautiful girl is seven months old today!  She has perfected her army crawl, is doing pushups, sits unsupported and is almost able to get into sitting position on her own.  She has two teeth on the bottom and is starting to grow a little more hair on her head but not much and what is growing in is very blond.  She is making lots of sounds and seems to have a new favorite sound once a week.  Three weeks ago it was a deep horse growl (she sounds like a little evil monster), two weeks ago the new sound was a loud yelled 'arf' this past week she added her growl to the end of her mad cry (not enjoying this new cry very much)  these are all in addition to her other sounds of mamas, dadas, babas, chirps, and squeaks.  The past month especially with moving has made her VERY clingy.  If Mommy even starts to walk away she starts to cry.  Its made moving, cleaning and everything else slightly difficult.  Also since she rolls and crawls so well she has to be watched more closely.  She has rolled herself off the bed three times now.  Once was last night.  She rolled herself off the bed right into the dogs bed without waking up.  I woke up panicked because I couldn't find her.  Susana has also gotten really good at picking up little tiny things she shouldn't have with her cute tiny fingers.

Susana went to the pediatrician for the first time about three weeks ago.  She weighed 15 lbs and a few ounces and the nurse measured her at 25 inches (I'm not sure the measure was accurate) those numbers put her in the 10% for height and 25% for weight.  So short and tiny ; )

Susana is still very smiley and good tempered as long as someone is paying attention to her.  She was very excited to see her big siblings again after they were gone for 6 weeks.  She greeted her big sisters with a giant smile and a loud, happy, enthusiastic 'ARF!'

We are all still loving her up.

Susana 4 months -May 5, 2015

This beautiful girl is four months old!  I don't know how time has gone so fast.  I told Taylor the other day that 4 months in was much longer than four months out.  Time is just racing by with her now that she is here.  She is happy as ever (most of the time).  She has big smiles for everyone.  The top picture is pretty accurate for her right now.  I big smile and her arms and legs moving.  It makes getting good pictures a little difficult.  She loves to grab her skirt and dress and pull them up to her mouth.  Same with her blankets.  She loves to grab a fist full of blanket and put it in her mouth.  She gets really excited when you give her a blanket.  The amount of droll has gone up considerably since she has figured out how to get things into her mouth.  She also is starting to grab her feet which is adorable and fun.  She is really close to rolling over she just can't quite get her shoulder tucked under her though.  She does manage to rotate her body around and wiggle out of things though.  She has gotten herself out of her swing and by kicking her legs has gotten herself off her jungle mat and once when Daddy left her on the couch for a minute she managed to roll herself off the couch.  Daddy felt really bad about that but Susana was ok.

Day 100!

Wow 100 days already?!?  The last 100 days truly have been full of happiness with this little one.  Her happy demeanor lifts our whole household.  I feel incredibly blessed and happy.  I never imagined a few years ago that I could feel this whole, complete and at peace.

Susana is such the perfect little girl.  100 days after her birth she is still very mellow, her eyes are still gorgeous blue, and she loves to sleep and eat.  100 days after her birth she does not have as much hair (she has completely rubbed it out in the back).  She also is no longer tiny.  Her little legs are getting the cutest rolls and her checks are getting chubby.  Today she wore her first 3-6 month outfit and I finally got her to laugh really well by covering my face with a basket and then pulling it away and making a noise fluttering my tongue.  She thought it was hilarious and laughed over and over again for several minutes.  Susana also likes to try and grab things now.  If she can get her little fingers wrapped around something she will pull it to her mouth.  (I have a feeling that all the cute bows I put on her are she'll be pulling off her head much sooner than I would prefer!)

Susana's First 3-6 month outfit

I feel like the luckiest Mommy in the world to have this little angel in my home.  I hope there are hundreds of more days with her in my arms and home.

Day 99

Today we had a cute little Minnie Mouse with us!  We had to take Ariana to the eye dr and everyone loved her outfit and asked where I got it.  It is certainly fun to be able to say I made it!  Susana charmed everyone with her big smiles at the office and James had to tell everyone about his Rescue Bots.  Ariana had a big jump in her prescription.  No wonder she couldn't read the board at school!

Day 98

Seriously this little one just melts my heart.  She has the biggest smiles and cutest expressions.  Today at church when she was being held by a couple other people when she would see me she got a huge excited smile and light in her eyes.  I don't know how I ever felt that I might not connect with another baby the way I was able to with James.  She brings such joy to me personally and to our home.  Tonight she actually giggled multiple times in a row for me.  I love little baby giggles.

Day 97

These pictures don't show what I love most about these two but they are still fun.  Taylor and Susana have been playing a lot today.  Hearing him talk to her and her cooing and smiling back just makes me so happy and full of joy.  Taylor loves this little girl and his affection towards her makes me fall even more in love with him.

Day 96

I noticed a couple days ago that Susana was purposely reaching out and trying to touch and grab things.  The first time I noticed was she reached up to touch me.  Next she has been reaching up and touching her butterfly and especially the zebra on her jungle mat.  Tonight she was also trying to grab a grocery bag that was by her and shove it in her mouth.
