Moving up a size in diapers has helped a little with the explosions. Today just a little got out and only once. Yeah! Susana continues to love the fishy mobile. She doesn't really care to be in the swing if its not on.

Day 25
Today we pulled out the big swing for the first time. Both Susana and James were fascinated by it. James loved all the buttons and Susana loved staring at the lights and fishy mobile. I'm surprised James didn't try to climb in it like he did Susana's car seat later in the day during dance. While I was making dinner I heard him say 'wohoo!' And ran to the living room expecting to see him pushing the swing crazy high. While he was pushing the swing he was being very gentle and had even tucked his special blanket around Susana.

Day 24
I have become slightly obsessed with learning how to make new kinds of bows and making headband bows to match Susana's outfits. I finished the bow she wore for most of today yesterday and it matched perfectly. Of course she exploded on the outfit. The picture I took makes me think she's thinking, 'what? What did I do?'
Day 23
Today I noticed when James brought a little pink dog for Susana 'to play with' that when I held it in front of her and moved it she was tracking the toy from side to side. It was cute to watch her slowly move her eyes and head. Amazing how much babies learn in their first year of life.

Day 22
Our sweet little princess is three weeks old. I really wish I could slow time down. Her newborn clothes are almost too small. The onesie Susana wore today doesn't go all the way down to her wrists and was really hard to get on. As fast as she is growing I still love her tiny body. Tonight she was so cute sitting on the couch by me that I had to stop and kneel by her as she just stared so innocently and happily at me. Such a true and beautiful blessing.

Day 21
Second time going to church. This week she is wearing the little purple dress that was the first fluffy thing I bought when I found out Alexis was a girl. I love this purple dress. All three of my girls have worn it now. Today I looked at pictures of each of my girls wearing the dress. So fun to go back and look at pictures from when they were small. I treasure the little moments now so much better than I did then. I'm incredibly grateful to hold and have this little one in my family.

Day 4
Happily laying in her bassinet wrapped in a blanket one of my old piano students, Bekah Barrowes made for me. Susana likes to be wrapped up but not her arms and hands. Her hands she wants to move and stretch. Today is the last day of bed rest for me. It has been really nice to just focus on resting and my new beautiful daughter.
