Day 6
Picture day and first outing! Today we took Susana's newborn photos and she got to ride in her carseat for the first time. Once again she didn't fuss. She was really calm during pictures too she just wouldn't stay in the positions the photographer put her in. She liked to stretch and wiggle out of position. After pictures she went with Grandma and Mommy to sandwich tree.
Day 5
Today Grandma came! This is the Grandma that the Ann in Susana comes from. We were all so happy to see Grandma today.
Day 3
Best little nurser ever. She loves to eat! Yesterday when my midwife came she only lost 4 oz of her birth weight. Her umbilical chord was really fat and it kept getting caught on everything and tonight when I went to put her in her jammies I noticed it was missing. This is the fastest any of my children have lost their chord.
Day 2
Happily hanging out at home in bed. Baby girl is very calm and has been since she was born. She barely squeaked after she was born and was breathing just fine. During the night she popped for the first time and didn't even fuss when I changed her. Today Ariana picked out her first bow.

100 first days
I am so in love with my beautiful new daughter! Another friend who had their baby the same day as us started doing pictures of the first 100 days of the baby. I think this idea is so cute. I want to try it. I don't know if I'll make it but lets see!
Day 1:
Susana Abigayle Tucker was born at 2:21 PM at home. She weighed 8lb 4 oz and was 20 inches long. Her head and chest both measured 14 inches. I loved having a home birth. It was very calm and peaceful and I loved being tucked into my own bed afterwards. Both Alexis and Ariana were present at the birth. Taylor was a wonderful support. He really helped me be calm and get through labor with minimal pain. I had Susana in a birth pool and Alexis helped catch her and clamp and cut the chord. We are all so in love with our new addition.

Grandma Tucker's Gifts
My mother-in-law continues to amaze me with her thoughtfulness and remembering the little things that are loved. We got a bag of Christmas presents she had purchased before her passing and in it are these sunflower seeds and earrings. Ariana is having allergic reactions to regular earrings but wants more sensitive solution ones and Alexis loves sunflower seeds and constantly begs for them especially when we travel. Sue had a way of taking note when someone mentioned things they really liked, loved, or needed. Seeing these in our bag of gifts touches my heart. Such little things but so thoughtful and personal. That was Sue, our Grandma Tucker. I mentioned earlier in my pregnancy while I was still really sick that the only chocolate I still craved was skor bars. Every time I showed up at her house she had a skor bar tucked away for me. I asked Taylor if she wrote down these things because how could she ever remember them all? He said, 'oh yes!' I can't remember little details like these long enough to write them down. We love you Grandma. Thank you for even these little things that showed how much you noticed and cared.
